High schools
Boys basketball
Federal Way and Todd Beamer will both be involved in playoff action Thursday.
Federal Way plays in its own gymnasium against Tahoma at 5 p.m. in a District 3/4 Class 4A tournament semifinal.
Todd Beamer will also be involved in a District 3/4 tournament semifinal only at the 3A level.
The Titans take on a tough Auburn contingent at 7 p.m. at Mount Tahoma in Tacoma.
Girls basketball
Decatur's season ended with a narrow and low-scoring 38-33 loss at Kentwood in District 3/4 4A tournament action Tuesday.
The Gators finished with a 13-9 overall record.
Boys swimming and diving
The King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way is hosting state boys swimming and diving action for all classifications this week.
Diving takes place Thursday, with Class 3A competitors going at it at 8:30 a.m., the 4A at 1 p.m. and the Class 1A/2A at 5:30 p.m.
Swimming preliminaries are on tap for Friday.
Class 3A starts the day at 8:45 a.m., followed by the 4A at 1:30 p.m. and the 1A/2A at 6:15 p.m.
Saturday will be the swimming finals.
The 3A session starts at 8:30 a.m., with the 4A at 1:15 p.m. and 1A/2A at 6 p.m.
Wrestling
State boys and girls action for all classifications runs Friday and Saturday at the Tacoma Dome.
Action lasts from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday with the next session from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Championship finals begin at 3 p.m. Saturday.
Gymnastics
Decatur is competing at the regional level this Thursday with its session starting at noon at Mount Rainier High School in Des Moines.
Flag football
Todd Beamer takes on Kentwood at 6 p.m. Friday at Kentlake and Decatur plays at Kentlake at the same time.
The teams switch at 7 p.m. as Decatur meets Kentwood and Todd Beamer plays Kentlake.
Thomas Jefferson and Federal Way both play at Federal Way Memorial on Saturday.
TJ meets Kentridge at noon as the Eagles face Kent-Meridian.
Federal Way plays Kentridge at 1 p.m. as the Raiders battle Kent-Meridian.
Pros
Kraken
Seattle pays a 4 p.m. Thursday visit to the Boston Bruins before coming home to the Climate Pledge Arena to play the Detroit Red Wings at 12:30 p.m. Monday.
Thursday's action will be televised on ROOT Sports Northwest and Monday's on ESPN.
Thunderbirds
Seattle hosts the Wenatchee Wild for 7:05 p.m. Wednesday action at the Showare Center in Kent before visiting Everett at 6:05 p.m. Saturday and Prince George at 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Silvertips
Everett visits Wenatchee for a 7 p.m. Friday game before hosting Seattle at 6:05 p.m. Saturday and Portland at 4:05 p.m. Sunday.
Stars
Tacoma is at Dallas playing the Sidekicks at 5 p.m. Thursday before visiting the Monterrey Flash at 1:35 p.m. Sunday.

Husky men
Washington entertains Stanford at 6 p.m. Thursday on ESPN2 and California at 5 p.m. Saturday on the Pac-12 network.
Cougar men
California visits Washington State at 7 p.m. Thursday and Stanford comes to Pullman at 3 p.m. Saturday with both games on the Pac-12 network.
Husky women
The UW visits Arizona State at 5 p.m. Friday and Arizona at 11 a.m. Sunday with both on Pac-12AZ.
Cougar women
Washington State drops in on Arizona at 5 p.m. Friday and visits Arizona State at 11 a.m. Sunday with both games on Pac-12WA.
Husky baseball
Washington visits Long Beach State at 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and stays for a 1 p.m. Sunday game.

Husky fastpitch softball
Washington is in Clearwater, Fla. playing Kentucky at 6:30 a.m. Friday and Minnesota at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
The Huskies play Wisconsin there at 7 a.m. Saturday, Louisiana State at 2 p.m. Saturday and North Carolina at 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
Washington goes to Fort Myers to play Florida Gulf Coast at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
