Soundview of Northeast and other parts of Tacoma took a 9-3 loss to Idaho in a Northwest Region all-star Little League Majors age 10-12 baseball semifinal Tuesday.
The Washington state championship team had opened the action in San Bernardino, Calif. with a 5-3 victory over Oregon this past Saturday.
Soundview takes on Oregon again at noon Wednesday in the other semifinal.
The winner goes on to play Idaho for the championship in a winner take all game at 6 p.m. Thursday.
Thursday's winner advances to the Little League World Series in Pennsylvania.
Wednesday and Thursday's action is scheduled to be aired on ESPN.
