Baseball

Decatur battles Enumclaw for a state regional berth in a 10 a.m. Saturday game at Auburn-Riverside.

The loser gets a second chance in a 4 p.m. Saturday contest on the same diamond.

Fastpitch softball

Decatur and Federal Way both open District 3/4 Class 3A tournament play with 2:15 p.m. Thursday games at the Regional Athletic Center in Lacey.

The Eagles are paired with Prairie as the Gators battle Gig Harbor on another complex diamond.

Both teams play a second game at 4:30 p.m. win or lose with the tournament skipping Friday and concluding Saturday

Mariners

Seattle travels to San Diego for 6:40 p.m. action this Friday and Saturday and for a 1:10 p.m. game Sunday.

The Mariners go on to Chicago to play the White Sox at 4:40 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and 11:10 a.m. Wednesday before dropping in on the Houston Astros at 5:10 p.m. Thursday.

Sounders

Seattle visits the Portland Timbers for 6:30 p.m. Saturday men's soccer action 

Storm

The Seattle women's basketball team opens its new season Saturday with a 7 p.m. visit to the Phoenix Mercury before going to Dallas to play the Wings at 5 p.m. Monday.

Reign

Seattle's women's soccer squad visits the Racing Louisville team for a 4:30 p.m. Friday match.

Seawolves

Seattle entertains the San Diego Legion team for 6 p.m. Saturday rugby action at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila.

Rainiers

Tacoma is in Albuquerque for games at 5:35 p.m. Friday and Saturday and for a 12:35 p.m. clash Sunday.

The Rainiers go on to El Paso to play at 5:05 p.m. Tuesday, 10:05 a.m. Wednesday and 5:35 p.m. Thursday.

Aquasox

Everett visits Vancouver for 1:05 p.m. games Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The Aquasox go to Hillsboro to play at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and at 1:05 p.m. Thursday.
