Federal Way hosts Prairie of Vancouver for a 7 p.m. Friday winner's bracket game in the District 3/4 Class 3A tournament as Todd Beamer entertains Evergreen of Vancouver in loser-out action.
Federal Way posted a 64-50 home win over Silas to open the tournament as Todd Beamer went down to a 70-65 home loss to Gig Harbor.
Girls basketball
Thomas Jefferson travels to Vancouver to play Mountain View in a 6 p.m. Friday opening round game of the District 3/4 Class 3A tournament.
Decatur visits Auburn Mountainview at 7 p.m. Saturday, riding its 44-41 Wednesday opening round victory at Bellarmine.
Both TJ and Federal Way face action to be announced Saturday.

Thunderbirds
Seattle hosts the Portland Winterhawks for a 6:05 p.m. Western Hockey League game Saturday at the Showare Center in Kent.
The Thunderbirds go over the Cascades to Wenatchee to take on the Wild at 4 p.m. Sunday and south to Portland for 3 p.m. Monday action.
Silvertips
Everett is in Prince George for games at 7 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday before visiting Victoria at 3:05 p.m. Monday.
Stars
Tacoma's indoor soccer team hosts the Harrisburg Heat at 7:05 p.m. Friday and 5:05 p.m. Sunday at the Showare Center in Kent.

Husky men
Washington visits Penn State for an 11 a.m. Saturday game before coming home to the Alaska Airlines Arena to take on Rutgers at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Husky women
The UW hosts USC for 4 p.m. Sunday action at the Alaska Airlines Arena and entertains Rutgers there at 6 p.m. next Sunday.
Cougar men
Washington State University goes to St. Mary's for a 7 p.m. Saturday game and comes home to Pullman to play Gonzaga at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Cougar women
WSU travels to Portland for a 3 p.m. Saturday contest before entertaining San Francisco at 6 p.m. next Thursday in Pullman.
