Football

Decatur opens state Class 3A playoff action Friday, hosting Mount Tahoma of Tacoma for a 7 p.m. game at Federal Way Memorial.

Federal Way waits until Saturday for its state opener, paying a 2 p.m. visit to Roosevelt at Seattle Memorial.

Volleyball

Todd Beamer and Federal Way open West Central District action with 4:30 p.m. matches Friday.

The Titans play Timberline at Foss High School and Federal Way battles Bellarmine at Mount Tahoma.

Girls swimming

Federal Way School District athletes are involved in the Class 3A state action at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way with finals beginning at 1:15 p.m. Saturday.

Pros

Seahawks

Seattle visit the San Francisco 49ers for a 1:05 p.m. Sunday game that can be seen on Channel 13.

Sounders

Seattle waits until Saturday, Nov. 23 to open its next round of playoff action, dropping in on the LAFC team at 7:30 p.m.

Kraken

The New York Islanders make their only appearance of the year at Climate Pledge Arena at 1 p.m. Saturday and the New York Rangers make theirs at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Nashville comes to Seattle at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

KONG carries Kraken action.

Thunderbirds vs. Silvertips

Seattle hosts Everett for 6:05 p.m. Saturday Western Hockey League action at the Showare Center in Kent.

Colleges

Husky football

Washington entertains UCLA for a 6 p.m. Friday game at Husky Stadium.

Channel 13 will air it live.

Cougar football

Washington State visits New Mexico at 6:30 p.m. Saturday on FS1.

Husky men's basketball

The UW hosts UM Lowell at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Alaska Airlines Arena with Big Ten+ showing the game live.

Cougar men's basketball

WSU plays Iowa in a 5:30 p.m. Friday game in Moline, Ill.

The Big Ten network will broadcast the action.

Husky women's basketball

Washington visits Montana at 1 p.m. Sunday before hosting CSUF at noon Thursday.

Cougar women's basketball

The lady Cougars pay a 4 p.m. Saturday visit to Texas Tech.
