Todd Beamer 40, Kentridge 0
Todd Beamer's Titans have really turned things around.
After going 0-2 in non-league play to start the season the Titans have won three straight games including two in North Puget Sound League Class 3A Division action to stand at 2-0 in division play and 3-2 overall.
They downed Kent-Meridian by a 20-7 score Sept. 15 and Kentlake by a 25-0 margin Sept. 22 ahead of Saturday's rout of the Chargers. Kentridge is an NPSL 4A foe but the other two were Class 3A opponents.
All of the victories were posted at French Field in Kent.
The Titans hope the winning trend continues when they visit Auburn-Riverside for a 4 p.m. Friday game at Auburn Memorial Stadium.
Decatur 33, Tahoma 30
The Gators edged the Bears by a field goal in Maple Valley last Friday, improving to 2-1 in NPSL Class 4A play and to 4-1 overall.
Decatur visits Mount Rainier for a 7 p.m. game at Highline Memorial this Friday in another division game.
The Gators' lone loss was to first place Kennedy Catholic (3-0, 4-1).
Kennedy Catholic 46, Federal Way 26
Federal Way fell to 1-1 in NPSL Class 4A action and to 1-4 overall with Saturday's loss to the Lancers at Highline Memorial in Burien.
The Eagles travel to Maple Valley to face Tahoma at 7 p.m. Friday before reopening Federal Way Memorial Field with a 6 p.m. home game against Mount Rainier on Thursday, Oct. 12.
Auburn 47, TJ 14
Thomas Jefferson stands at 0-3 in NPSL Class 3A contests and at 0-5 overall including last Thursday's defeat at Auburn Memorial.
The Raiders take a break from league play this weekend, visiting Highline for a game at noon Saturday at Highline Memorial.
It won't be an easy break, however, as the Pirates are on top of the Kingco 2A standings at 3-0 and are 4-1 overall with the only loss being to Kennedy Catholic by a 45-38 margin Sept. 9.
