Seahawks

Seattle drew a bye for this weekend before visiting the Cincinnati Bengals for 10 a.m. National Football League action Sunday, Oct. 15.

Sounders

Seattle entertains the Vancouver Whitecaps for a 7:30 p.m. men's soccer match Saturday.

Apple TV+ will broadcast the action live from Lumen Field.

Kraken

Seattle wraps up preseason play Friday, paying a 6 p.m. visit to Edmonton.

The Kraken open the regular National Hockey League season by dropping in on the Las Vegas Golden Knights at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Friday's game can be seen on KONG TV and Tuesday's will be shown nationally on ESPN.

OL Reign

The women's soccer team hosts the Washington, D.C. team for a 5 p.m. Friday clash at Lumen Field that will be aired on Channel 7.

Thunderbirds

Seattle's Western Hockey League squad travels to Spokane for 7:05 p.m. Friday action.

Silvertips

Everett goes to Portland to take on the Winterhawks at 7 p.m. Friday before crossing the Cascades to play the Tri-City Americans at 6:05 p.m. Saturday.

Colleges

Husky football

Washington has a bye this week ahead of a 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 home game against Oregon.

Cougar football

Washington State takes its undefeated record to Pasadena, Calif. to play the UCLA Bruins at noon Saturday on the Pac-12 network.

Husky volleyball

Washington gets an 8 p.m. Friday visit from the Stanford Cardinal before entertaining California at noon Sunday.

Friday's action can be seen on the Pac-12 network.

High schools

Football

Todd Beamer goes down the hill to Auburn Memorial to face Auburn-Riverside in a key North Puget Sound League Class 3A Division matchup at 4 p.m. Friday.

Decatur visits Mount Rainier for a 7 p.m. Friday game at Highline Memorial as Federal Way travels to Maple Valley to take on Tahoma.

Thomas Jefferson drops in on Highline for a noon Sunday contest.

Girls soccer

Decatur hosts Mount Rainier for 4:30 p.m. Thursday action before entertaining Tahoma at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at newly overhauled Federal Way Memorial Field.

Federal Way gets a 4:30 p.m. Friday visit from Auburn and goes to Starfire Stadium in Tukwila to face Kennedy Catholic at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The Thomas Jefferson team hosts Kent-Meridian at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Auburn at the same time Tuesday.

Todd Beamer visits Auburn at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Volleyball

Thomas Jefferson plays host to Kent-Meridian at 7:15 p.m. Thursday before visiting Auburn at the same time Monday and hosting Auburn Mountainview next Wednesday.

Todd Beamer, meanwhile, travels to Auburn this Thursday and to Kent-Meridian next Wednesday.

Federal Way goes to Lakes for a Thursday non-league match and hosts Kennedy Catholic on Monday with Tahoma coming in for a Wednesday match.

Mount Rainier drops in on Decatur on Thursday with the Gators going to Tahoma Monday.  They entertain Kentridge next Wednesday.

Boys tennis

Federal Way journeys to Mount Rainier for 3:30 p.m. Thursday action and hosts Tahoma at the same time Friday before finishing its regular season with a Tuesday visit to Kentwood.

Thomas Jefferson's season ends with a trip to Auburn-Riverside on Thursday and a home match against Auburn Mountainview this Friday.

Decatur travels to Tahoma Thursday before hosting Kentridge Friday and entertaining Kennedy Catholic Tuesday.

Todd Beamer is at Auburn Thursday and hosts Auburn-Riverside at Saghalie Friday.  It gets a visit from Kent-Meridian for its finale Tuesday.

Cross country

The Federal Way All-City meet involving all four local schools takes place at Thomas Jefferson's course next Wednesday.

The girls race gets underway at 4 p.m. with the boys competing at 4:45 p.m.

Girls swimming

Todd Beamer entertains Auburn for a 3 p.m. Tuesday meet at the King County Aquatic Center and Decatur's Gators will be there at the same time going up against Kent-Meridian.

Federal Way faces Kentridge at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lindbergh High School pool.

Boys golf

Federal Way will be at home at North Shore playing Auburn Mountainview at 3:15 p.m. Thursday and Auburn at the same time next Wednesday.

Thomas Jefferson hosts Decatur at Riverbend this Thursday and Todd Beamer travels to Tapps Island to take on Auburn-Riverside next Wednesday.

Decatur is at home at Twin Lakes facing Auburn Mountainview Tuesday.

Girls golf

Decatur hosts Thomas Jefferson at 3:15 p.m. Thursday at Twin Lakes before going to the Auburn Golf Course to play Auburn Mountainview next Tuesday.

Todd Beamer's season concludes with a Tuesday visit to Auburn-Riverside at Tapps Island.

Federal Way will visit the Auburn Golf Course twice, visiting Auburn Mountainview on Thursday and Auburn next Tuesday.
