Mariners
Seattle is in a three-way tangle at the top of the American League West and will be playing only the other two teams involved over its last 10 games.
The Mariners go to Texas this weekend, taking on the Rangers at 5:05 p.m. Friday, 4:05 p.m. Saturday and 11:35 a.m. Sunday.
Seattle comes home to play the Houston Astros for three games after that, with the action starting at 6:40 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at T-Mobile Park.
Texas comes to town next Thursday at 6:40 p.m. to start a four game stay.
ROOT Sports Northwest will televise the action live.
Seahawks
Seattle hosts the Carolina Panthers for a 1:05 p.m. Sunday game at Lumen Field that can be seen on Channel 7.
Sounders
Seattle is off until Saturday, Sept. 30 when it pays a 5:30 p.m. visit to Nashville on Apple TV+.
OL Reign
The women's soccer team returns to action Sunday, Oct. 1 with a 5 p.m. home match against North Carolina at Lumen Field.

Tacoma entertains the Round Rock Express the next four days to wrap up its season.
The action at Cheney Stadium starts at 7:05 p.m. Thursday and Friday and at 6:05 p.m. Saturday ahead of a 1:35 p.m. final Sunday.

Seattle's Western Hockey League team visits Wenatchee for a 6 p.m. Saturday game.

Husky football
Washington hosts the California Bears for a 7:30 p.m. Saturday game to be carried on ESPN.
Cougar football
Washington State University will entertain Oregon State at 4 p.m. Saturday in Pullman.
Channel 13 will televise the game live.
Husky volleyball
The UW visits Washington State for a 7 p.m. Thursday match in Pullman on the Pac-12 network before dropping in on Arizona State at 1 p.m. Sunday on Pac-12WA.
High schools
Football
A local doubleheader will be hosted at French Field in Kent this Friday, with Todd Beamer taking on Kentlake at 4 p.m. ahead of a 7:30 p.m. battle between Federal Way and Kentridge.
Thomas Jefferson, meanwhile, is at Auburn Mountainview at 7 p.m. Friday at Auburn Memorial.
Decatur goes into action at 1 p.m. Saturday, battling Kennedy Catholic at Highline Memorial for the early South Puget Sound League Class 4A lead. The Gators are 3-0 and the Lancers are 2-1 overall.
Girls soccer
Todd Beamer entertains Tahoma at 5 p.m. Thursday before visiting Federal Way at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Thomas Jefferson visits Mount Rainier for a 7:30 p.m. Thursday match and Decatur at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
Decatur's Gators get a 5 p.m. Thursday visit from Auburn Mountainview and Federal Way visits Kentlake at 7:30 p.m.
Volleyball
The Federal Way Eagles host Kentwood at 7:15 p.m. Thursday and Mount Rainier at the same time Monday before visiting Decatur next Wednesday. The Gators, meanwhile, are at Kentwood Monday.
Auburn-Riverside drops in on Todd Beamer this Thursday as Thomas Jefferson plays host to Kentlake.
TJ is at Todd Beamer this coming Monday and at Highline next Wednesday, when Todd Beamer is at Kentlake.
Boys tennis
All four local teams are on the road for 3:30 p.m. Thursday matches, with Decatur visiting Kentridge, Federal Way visiting Tahoma, TJ going to Auburn Mountainview and Todd Beamer to Auburn-Riverside.
The Eagles entertain Kentwood on Friday as Decatur goes to Kennedy Catholic, TJ to Tahoma and Todd Beamer to Kent-Meridian.
Tuesday's schedule has TJ at Federal Way, Todd Beamer at Kentlake and Decatur at Kentwood.
Girls swimming
Decatur hosts Rogers for a 3 p.m. meet at the King County Aquatic Center this Thursday before visiting Mount Rainer at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Federal Way gets a 3 p.m. visit from Kentwood at the Federal Way Community Center next Tuesday as Decatur hosts Kentlake at the Aquatic Center.
TJ goes to the Auburn Pool to face Auburn Mountainview at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Boys golf
Todd Beamer hosts Auburn for a 3:15 p.m. Thursday match at Twin Lakes before entertaining Federal Way at the same time and place Tuesday.
Decatur travels to Tapps Island to face Auburn-Riverside this Thursday before visiting Auburn Tuesday.

Federal Way drops in on the TJ Raiders at 3:15 p.m. Thursday at Riverbend before hosting Auburn-Riverside Monday and Todd Beamer Tuesday at North Shore.
