Track and field
Mount Tahoma High School's stadium in Tacoma is hosting the Class 2A, 3A and 4A finals this Thursday through Saturday.
Action starts at 3 p.m. Thursday and at 11 a.m. Friday ahead of a 10:30 a.m. start Saturday.
Federal Way is sending a large contingent to the 4A meet that also includes Decatur, while Thomas Jefferson and Todd Beamer compete at the 3A level.
Tennis
Thomas Jefferson's No. 1 doubles team of Mia Morgan and Caley Buchan is making the trek south to the Vancouver Tennis Center to represent the Federal Way School District at state, with their 3A competition running Friday and Saturday.
Pros
Mariners
Seattle will be playing at home at T-Mobile Park all week, including 6:40 p.m. action Thursday against the Oakland A's.
The Pittsburgh Pirates come to town this weekend, playing a 7:10 p.m. game Friday followed by 1:10 p.m. starts Saturday and Sunday.
Next up is the New York Yankees, who fly in for 6:40 p.m. games Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
ROOT Sports Northwest will televise all of the games live.
Sounders
Seattle hosts New York for 7:30 p.m. Saturday action at Lumen Field and San Jose comes in to play at the same time Wednesday.
Apple TV+ is set to carry both matches.
Storm
The Seattle women's basketball team entertains Dallas for a 7 p.m. game Friday and New York for 6 p.m. Tuesday action with both games at the Climate Pledge Arena.
Friday's game can be seen on ION and Tuesday's will be televised on ESPN2.
OL Reign
Angel City FC comes to Lumen Field for a 12:30 p.m. Saturday women's soccer match before the Reign visits San Diego at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Paramount+ will broadcast both contests.
Seawolves
Seattle visits Old Glory DC for a 3 p.m. Saturday men's rugby match on FS2.
Thunderbirds
Seattle already won the Western Hockey League championship and will now play other league champions at the Memorial Cup in Kamloops, B.C.
The Thunderbirds play the OHL champions at 3 p.m. Saturday and the QMJHL champions at 6 p.m. Monday.
Rainiers
Tacoma is at home at Cheney Stadium playing the Las Vegas Aviators at 7:05 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 6:05 p.m. Saturday and 1:35 p.m. Sunday.
The Rainiers take Monday off before hosting the Sacramento Rivercats at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
Emerald Downs
The Auburn oval will host horse racing action at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday this week.
Colleges
Husky fastpitch softball
Washington is playing Louisiana in a Super Regional series at home, playing games at 7 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. Saturday with Friday's action on ESPN2.
Husky baseball
Washington travels to Scottsdale, Ariz. for Pac-12 tournament play, taking on USC at 2:30 p.m. Thursday on the Pac-12 network.
