Boys basketball
Federal Way opens District 3/4 Class 4A tournament action Saturday, paying a 7 p.m. visit to Puyallup.
Todd Beamer goes over to Stadium of Tacoma for its Class 3A tournament opener at the same time.
Girls basketball
Decatur opens its Class 4A district tournament at home Friday with Rogers providing the competition in a 7 p.m. game.
The contest will be loser out.
Girls flag football
Federal Way Memorial will be the site of four games Saturday.
Thomas Jefferson battles Mount Rainier at noon as Federal Way goes at it against Evergreen.
The teams switch opponents and play again at 1 p.m. with Federal Way playing Mount Rainier and TJ taking on Evergreen.
Gymnastics
Kentlake hosts two gymnastics meets Saturday, with Class 4A teams competing in 9 a.m. championship action and 3A teams going at it at 2 p.m.
Wrestling
Todd Beamer puts on Class 3A Regional action Saturday as Tahoma hosts the 4A.
Pros
Kraken
Seattle visits Philadelphia for 4 p.m. Saturday action before dropping in on New Jersey at the same time Monday.
The Kraken cross the Hudson to play the New York Islanders at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Saturday's action will be televised on ESPN+ and Hulu with the other two games on ROOT Sports Northwest.
Thunderbirds
Seattle goes to Kamloops to play the Blazers at 7 p.m. Wednesday before coming home to the Showare Center in Kent to battle Vancouver at 7:05 p.m. Friday.
The Thunderbirds visit Portland's Winterhawks at 6 p.m. Saturday and visit the Tri-City Americans at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
Silvertips
Everett will be in Wenatchee playing the Wild at 7 p.m. Friday and comes back over the Cascades to host Spokane at 6:05 p.m. Saturday at the Angel of the Winds Arena.
The Silvertips go to Portland for 7 p.m. Tuesday action.
Stars
Tacoma is in Kansas City battling the Comets at 5:05 p.m. Friday and at St. Louis against the Ambush at 4:05 p.m. Saturday.
Colleges
Husky men
Washington pays a 7 p.m. visit to the Oregon Ducks this Thursday before dropping in on the Oregon State Beavers at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Thursday's action can be seen on Fox Sports 1 and Saturday's on the Pac-12 network.
Cougar men
Washington State is at Oregon State for a 7 p.m. Thursday game and at Oregon at the same time Saturday.
The Pac-12 network will carry both games.
Husky women
Washington hosts Stanford for 7 p.m. Friday action before entertaining California at noon Sunday.
Pac-12BAY will broadcast Friday's game and Saturday's will be on Pac-12WA.
Cougar women
California comes to Pullman to play a 7 p.m. Friday game and Stanford visits at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Friday's action will be aired on Pac-12WA and Sunday's is on the Pac-12 network.
