Federal Way hosts Thomas Jefferson for a 7 p.m. Friday game and Todd Beamer entertains Decatur at 8 p.m.

Federal Way plays Lincoln of Tacoma in a 5:15 p.m. Saturday contest at Fife.

Decatur visits TJ for 7 p.m. Tuesday action as Federal Way drops in on Todd Beamer.

Girls basketball

Decatur pays a 6:30 p.m. visit to Todd Beamer this Friday and at 7 p.m. it will be Federal Way at Thomas Jefferson.

Decatur travels to Lincoln of Tacoma for 3:30 p m. Saturday action before hosting TJ at 7 p.m. Tuesday as Todd Beamer goes to Federal Way.

Decatur goes to Thomas Jefferson at 7 p.m. next Wednesday as Todd Beamer visits Auburn-Riverside and Federal Way travels to Kentridge.

Girls bowling

Decatur hosts Federal Way for 3 p.m. action at Secoma Lanes this Thursday as Todd Beamer entertains Evergreen at the same alley.

Mount Rainier at Thomas Jefferson is scheduled for the same time and place Tuesday with Todd Beamer going to Kennedy Catholic and Decatur to Highline.

Seattle visits the Dallas Cowboys for a 5:15 p.m. Thursday game that can be seen on Channel 13 and Amazon.

Seattle drops in on Toronto for 4 p.m. Thursday action before visiting Ottawa at the same time Saturday and Montreal at 4:30 p.m. Monday.

All three games will be televised on ROOT Sports Northwest.

Seattle hosts the Kelowna Rockets at 6:05 p.m. Saturday at the Showare Center in Kent where they will entertain Victoria at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.

Everett visits Edmonton at 6 p.m. Friday and Red Deer at the same time Saturday.

Tacoma opens its men's indoor soccer season Saturday with a 5:05 p.m. visit to the San Diego Sockers.

Husky football

Undefeated and No. 3-ranked Washington collides with No. 5 Oregon in Las Vegas for the Pac-12 championship at 5 p.m. Friday.

Channel 4 will show the game live.

Husky men

Washington travels to Las Vegas for basketball this Saturday as well, playing CSU at 4 p.m. on CBS Sports.

The Huskies entertain Montana State at 8 p.m. Tuesday on the Pac-12 network.

Cougar men

Washington State will be at home in Pullman playing Portland State at 2 p.m. Saturday and UC Riverside at 7 p.m. Wednesday with the Pac-12 network carrying both games.

Husky women

The UW hosts San Francisco at 1 p.m. Saturday and Montana State at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Cougar women

UC Davis visits WSU in the Palouse for 7 p.m. Friday action and the Cougars go to South Dakota State at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

The Huskies play Idaho State at 2 p.m. Friday and Air Force at the same time Saturday ahead of a 7 p.m. Sunday game against Hawaii on ESPN+.

Washington entertains Washington State at 7 p.m. Friday on Pac-12WA.

Cougar men

WSU hosts Utah Tech at 1 p.m. Friday and Eastern Washington at the same time Monday with both games on the Pac-12 network.

Cougar women

Washington State is in Cancun playing Maryland at 8 a.m. Thursday, UMass at 8 a.m. Friday and Green Bay at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Johnson dives to 14th

Amaya Johnson of Decatur saw an amazing improvement at the state girls swimming and diving meet held this past weekend at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.

Johnson captured 14th in the diving competition for Class 4A schools with a score of 252.80 points for 11 dives Thursday.

She came in ranked only 20th with her previous season best of 233.95.

Thomas Jefferson sent one relay team and one individual to the Class 3A swimming portion of the meet.

Emma Calin of the Raiders just missed the consolation finals of the 100-yard breaststroke, taking 18th in Friday's preliminaries with her time of 1 minute, 11.46 seconds.

The top 16 swimmers in each event make at least the consolation finals with the top eight making the finals.

Calin came into the meet ranked 16th in 1:11.04.

TJ took 20th in the 400 freestyle relay in a time of 4:01.25 after coming in ranked 22nd in 4:03.99.

Calin was joined by Fiona Policarpio, Sam Kahn and Erin Bae on the relay team.

Secoma Lanes in Federal Way will host two competitions at once at 3 p.m. Thursday.

Federal Way will battle Todd Beamer on some lanes as Thomas Jefferson hosts Evergreen of Seattle on others.

Decatur visits Tyee at the same time.

Seattle visits the Los Angeles Rams for 1:25 p.m. National Football League action this Sunday.

Channel 7 will televise the game live.

Sounders

Seattle advances to the Major League Soccer West semifinals next, playing Los Angeles FC at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26 on Apple TV+.

The match will be played at Lumen Field.

Kraken

The New York Islanders drop in on Seattle for 7 p.m. Thursday National Hockey League action at the Climate Pledge Arena.

Seattle visits Vancouver at the same time Saturday before coming home again to face Calgary at the same time Monday.

Seattle entertains San Jose next Wednesday, also at 7 p.m.

Seattle goes to Everett for a 7:05 p.m. Friday Western Hockey League clash at the Angel of the Winds Arena.

Swimming and Diving

The King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way will once again host state girls swimming and diving competition for all classifications.

Diving takes place Thursday, with the 3A action starting off the day at 8:30 a.m.

The 4A follows at 1 p.m. and the 1A/2A athletes go at it starting at 5:30 p.m.

The 4A field includes Decatur's Amaya Johnson, who ranks 20th going in with her best score of 233.95 points 

Thomas Jefferson is sending one individual and one relay team to 3A swimming, which gets underway at 8:45 a.m. Friday.

Emma Calin of the Raiders ranks 16th in the 100-yard breaststroke with her best time of 1 minute, 11.04 seconds 

She joins Fiona Policarpio, Sam Kahn and Erin Bae on a 400 free relay team that ranks 22nd at 4:03.99.

The 4A swimming begins at 1:30 p.m. with no area participants and 1A/2A action gets underway at 6:15 p.m.

Finals and consolation finals start with the 3A at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, with the 4A at 1:15 p.m. and the 1A/2A at 6 p.m.

Volleyball

Todd Beamer opens 3A West Central District tournament action Friday, playing Auburn-Riverside in a noon match at Mount Tahoma High School.

Football

Federal Way School District teams have seen their seasons come to an end, including two who were involved in playoffs last week.

Woodinville edged Decatur out by a 13-6 score Friday as Federal Way took a 56-7 loss at Camas.

Seattle entertains the Washington Commanders for 1:25 p.m. Sunday action at Lumen Field that can be seen on Channel 13.

Sounders

Seattle plays the third and deciding match of its playoff series against Dallas at 7 p.m. Friday on Apple TV+.

The action takes place at Lumen Field.

Kraken

Seattle drops in on the Colorado Avalanche for a 6 p.m. Thursday hockey game before coming home to the Climate Pledge Arena to face off against Edmonton at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Seattle's Western Hockey League squad visits Victoria at 7:05 p.m. Friday before turning around to host it at 6:05 p.m. Saturday at the Showare Center in Kent.

Silvertips

Everett entertains Kelowna at 7:05 p.m. Friday and hosts Vancouver at 6:05 p.m. Saturday at the Angel of the Winds Arena.

Washington has another big game ahead Saturday when it gets a 12:30 p.m. visit from Utah at Husky Stadium.

The Huskies are 9-0 going into the action to be broadcast on Channel 13.

Washington State travels to Berkeley to battle California at 1 p.m. Saturday on ESPN2.

Husky volleyball

The UW entertains USC at 7 p.m. Friday and UCLA at 1 p.m. Sunday.

Husky men

Washington hosts Northern Kentucky at 8 p.m. Thursday and Nevada at 7 p.m. Sunday with both games carried on the Pac-12 network.

Cougar men

Prairie View shows up in the Palouse for a 7 p.m. Friday game on Pac-12WA.

Husky women

The UW is scheduled for a 5 p.m. Thursday home game against North Carolina Central before getting a visit from Pacific at 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Cougar women

Washington State hosts Gonzaga at 7 p.m. Thursday and Idaho State at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Thomas Jefferson goes to Ingraham High School in Seattle to battle Lakeside at the same time.

First place Seattle visits the Baltimore Ravens for 10 a.m. Sunday action televised on Channel 7.

Seattle carries a 1-0 lead in a best of three series into 6 p.m. Saturday action at Dallas carried on Apple TV+.

Seattle gets a 7 p.m. Thursday visit from Nashville at the Climate Pledge Arena and the Calgary Flames fly in for action at the same time and place Saturday.
