Baseball
Federal Way opens postseason play Tuesday, paying a 4:30 p.m. visit to the Olympia Bears.
A win advances the Eagles to an 11 a.m. Saturday, May 13 game at Art Wright Field in Kent, while a loss drops them into a Wednesday home game. Wednesday's winner goes on to play Saturday at Heritage Field in Vancouver and the loser is out.
Boys soccer
The auxiliary field at Federal Way High School will be the site of a playoff doubleheader Saturday, starting with noon action pitting Thomas Jefferson against Stadium of Tacoma.
Federal Way is scheduled to host the second game at 2 p.m., taking on Rogers of Puyallup.
Win or lose, TJ will still be alive next Tuesday.
A win puts the Raiders into 7:30 p.m. action at Auburn with a state berth already in hand. A loss drops them into a 5:30 p.m. loser-out match at Mount Tahoma in Tacoma.
If TJ takes the first two games, it will play for the West Central District Class 3A title at 7:30 p,m. Thursday at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup.
Federal Way's match Saturday is loser-out, with the winner going to Art Crate Field in Graham next to Bethel High School to play a second loser-out match at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Should the Eagles win Saturday and Tuesday they return to Art Create at 7:30 p.m. Thursday to play for a state 4A berth. A loss Thursday would drop them into 3 p.m. Saturday action at Franklin Pierce's field in Parkland to play a winner-to-state, loser-out contest.
Fastpitch softball
Softball teams are still involved in regular season action.
Thomas Jefferson hosts Stadium for a 3:30 p.m. Friday non-league game at the South County Ballfields off Military Road and Federal Way visits Mount Rainier for 4 p.m. Friday North Puget Sound League action.
Scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday are Auburn at Todd Beamer, Kentlake at Federal Way, TJ at Kentwood and Decatur at Kent-Meridian as the NPSL season concludes.
TJ's Raiders go to Curtis for 4 p.m. Thursday non-league action.

Seattle comes home to T-Mobile Park to take on the Houston Astros in key American League West games at 7:10 p.m. Friday, 6:40 p.m. Saturday and 1:10 p.m. Sunday.
The Texas Rangers fly in for more American League West games at 6:40 p.m. Monday and Tuesday ahead of a 12:40 p.m. contest next Wednesday.
ROOT Sports Northwest will carry the action live.
Kraken
Seattle continues its playoff quest Sunday, hosting the Dallas Stars for 6:30 p.m. Western Conference semifinal action at the Climate Pledge Arena.
The Stars stay for game four of the best-of-seven series at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Sunday's game can be seen on TBS and Tuesday's on ESPN.
Sounders
Seattle hosts Kansas City for 1:30 p.m. Sunday Major League Soccer action at Lumen Field.
The match will be televised live on Channel 13 and Apple TV+.
The Sounders visit the Los Angeles Galaxy for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday action.

The women's soccer team entertains Houston for 7 p.m. Saturday action at Lumen Field on Paramount+.

Seattle hosts the Kamloops Blazers at 6:05 p.m. Saturday at the Showare Center in Kent as Western Hockey League playoffs continue.
Emerald Downs
The Auburn horse racing oval opens its season with a 1 p.m. Saturday session.
Rainiers
Tacoma is in Salt Lake City for games at 6:35 p.m. Friday and Saturday and for a 1:05 p.m. Sunday contest.
The Rainiers come home to Cheney Stadium to play the Reno Aces at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of 7:05 p.m. action Thursday.

Husky and Cougar baseball
Washington goes to Pullman to play Washington State at 7 p.m. Friday, 6 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
The Huskies come home to take on Seattle University at 6:05 p.m. Tuesday on $2 general admission Bark at the Park Night.
Husky fastpitch softball
Washington visits Stanford for action at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday as the regular season concludes.
