The Olympic View pool in Normandy Park hosts the Southern Division meet for the Greater Seattle Summer Swim League at 4 p.m. Thursday.

At stake are berths into next Tuesday's 4 p.m. All-City championship meet at the Lakeridge pool in Renton.

Seattle concludes its current series in Boston with a 1:10 p.m. Wednesday game at Fenway Park.

The Mariners fly home to face the Philadelphia Phillies at 6:40 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1:10 p.m. Sunday at T-Mobile Park.

Detroit's Tigers come to town for 6:40 p.m. action next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

ROOT Sports Northwest will televise the games.

Seattle entertains Necaxa for 7:30 p.m. Sunday action at Lumen Field on Fox Sports 1.

Seattle visits Portland for a 7 p.m. Wednesday match on Paramount+.

Tacoma hosts the Salt Lake Bees at Cheney Stadium at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, at 6:05 p.m. Saturday and 1:35 p.m. Sunday.

The Rainiers travel to Reno to play the Aces at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday.

Everett entertains the Eugene Emeralds at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 4:05 p.m. Sunday.

The Aquasox visit the Hillsboro Hops at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.

A Look Ahead

Mariners

Seattle concludes its current homestand with a 12:40 p.m. Wednesday game against the Los Angeles Angels at T-Mobile Park.

It will be off to Chicago this weekend, with the Mariners battling the White Sox at 5:10 p.m. Friday, 4:15 p.m. Saturday and 11:10 a.m. Sunday.

Seattle visits the Sox of a different color after that, dropping in on the Boston Red Sox at 4:10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday ahead of a 1:10 p.m. game next Wednesday.

Mariners games are carried on ROOT Sports Northwest except Saturday's will be televised on Channel 13.

Sounders

Seattle hosts Minnesota for 7 p.m. Friday action at Lumen Field that can be seen on Apple TV+.

Reign

Tijuana comes to town for a 3 p.m. Sunday women's soccer match at Lumen Field on Paramount+.

Seawolves

Seattle entertains Dallas for a 1 p.m. Sunday Western Conference final at Starfire Stadium in Tukwila.

Rainiers

Tacoma is in Oklahoma City playing the Dodgers in 5:05 p.m. games Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday ahead of a 4:05 p.m. Sunday contest.

The Rainiers come home to Cheney Stadium to battle the Salt Lake City Bees starting at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday.

Everett visits the Tri-City Dust Devils at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Seattle hosts Houston for first place showdowns at 7:10 p.m. Friday, 6:40 p.m. Saturday and 1:10 p.m. Sunday at T-Mobile Park.

The Los Angeles Angels fly in for action at 6:40 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.

ROOT Sports Northwest will televise all of the games.

Sounders

St. Louis comes to Seattle for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday action at Lumen Field and Los Angeles invades at the same time Saturday.

Both matches can be seen on Apple TV+.

Storm

Seattle is off until Friday, Aug. 16 when it visits Atlanta at 4:30 p.m.

Reign

Seattle entertains Utah at 6 p.m. Friday at Lumen Field in a match carried on CBS Sports.

Sounders

Seattle travels to Austin for 5:30 p.m. Saturday action on Apple TV+.

Storm

Seattle entertains Las Vegas for noon Wednesday action at the Climate Pledge Arena before getting a 7 p.m. Friday visit from Minnesota and a 3 p.m. Sunday visit from Atlanta.

The Storm travels to Los Angeles at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Wednesday and Sunday the games will be on Fox 13+ with Friday's on ION and Tuesday's on Channel 13.

Tacoma is in Albuquerque for an 11:05 a.m. Wednesday game ahead of 5:35 p.m. action Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Major softball finishes fourth

Federal Way National finished fourth in the state Major age 10-12 Little League all-star girls softball tournament this week.

National finished with a 2-2 record in the action at Hartman Park in Redmond, with its season ending with a 7-4 loss to North Bothell/Northshore Saturday morning.

That was in a game to get into Sunday's loser's bracket final.

National opened the tournament Tuesday with an 8-0 victory over the same North Bothell/Northshore contingent.

That advanced Federal Way into a Thursday morning winner's bracket semifinal.

National was blanked by Issaquah in that game, 2-0.

Federal Way fell into loser's bracket play, but it bounced back to pound Asotin Co4unty, 17-2.

That set up the Saturday morning meeting with North Bothell/North Shore, a team that defeated West Seattle Friday, 19-3.

National Majors finish third

Federal Way National finished third in the District 10 Little League Majors age 10-12 all-star baseball tournament with a 4-0 loss to Bonney Lake/Sumner in the loser's bracket final Wednesday.

National wound up with a 2-2 record in the tournament played at Sunset Park in Auburn.

National launched out into the action by posting a 6-3 win over the same Bonney Lake/Sumner team Saturday before topping Auburn by a 4-0 score Sunday.

That advanced the Federal Way team into a Tuesday clash with South Hill in the winner's bracket final.

National took a 10-3 loss in that game to fall into Wednesday's loser's bracket final.

Little League

Federal Way National advances to a state winner's bracket semifinal game in the Majors age 10-12 division after opening with an 8-0 victory over North Bothell/North Shore Tuesday.

National plays Issaquah in a 10 a.m. Thursday game at Hartman Park in Redmond.

Thursday's winner goes on to the 9 a.m. Saturday winner's bracket final.

Championship action begins at 6 p.m. Monday for Saturday's winner and the loser's bracket survivor.

Baseball

Little League

Federal Way National faces Bonney Lake/Sumner in a 6 p.m. Wednesday loser's bracket final of the Majors age 10-12 District 10 tournament at Sunset Park in Auburn.

The winner plays South Hill in a 10 a.m. Thursday provisional championship needing to beat that team twice to take the title.  The if necessary game would be at 6 p.m. Friday.

National opened with a 6-3 win over Bonney Lake/Sumner Saturday and blanked Auburn by a 4-0 score Sunday.

That advanced the team to a Tuesday winner's bracket final meeting with South Hill which it lost, 10-3.

The Baltimore Orioles are in Seattle for a 7:10 p.m. Wednesday game and a 1:10 p.m. Thursday game before the Toronto Blue Jays fly in for action at 6:40 p.m. Friday and 1:10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Seattle goes to San Diego to play the Padres at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Mariners games can be seen on ROOT Sports Northwest.

Sounders

Seattle entertains New England for a 7:30 p.m. Saturday match at Lumen Field before visiting Sacramento at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Both will be aired on Apple TV+.

Storm
